Monster Loose was painted in the Greater Philadelphia Area on the night that Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast. The storm hit shortly after the tragic suicide of my brother. The wild, loud winds raging outside matched what I was feeling on the inside. I felt at one with the storm and knew its destructive power on many levels. I finally went to bed crying as I did many nights at that time.
